Endowment

“Creating Possibilities, Inspiring Tomorrow” will also fund general operations and ensure greater long-term financial security by strengthening the Fleet Science Center’s endowment. 

The endowment provides a reliable source of income through periods of economic uncertainty, allowing the organization to carry out its educational mission more effectively.  Strengthening our endowment fund, which generates annual income for education programs and general operations, is a priority for the Fleet Science Center and an important component of this campaign.

Operational Support

As the Fleet Science Center transforms the Space Theater, develops new exhibits and continues providing memorable experiences to visitors and school children, operational support is more critical than ever. The electricity and water bills must be paid, employees must be compensated and insured, education materials and supplies need to be purchased, and day-to-day expenses must be covered so that the Science Center can continue to serve as the valuable community resource San Diegans have come to expect.
