Ectotherm Fecal Fest

Ectotherm Fecal Fest

Wednesday, December 6, 2017
2–3 p.m.
Lindbergh-Schweitzer Elementary School
4133 Mt Albertine Ave, San Diego, CA 92111

We kick off Grossology month with Ectotherm Fecal Fest! After all, you can't get much grosser than poop! Take part in a presentation by Eco Vivarium and their reptiles from the carnivore, herbivore and omnivore groups. Along with our cold blooded friends we will learn about poop samples from each and play a game called "Match that Poop!" We will be introduced to each animal, learn about its habitat, diet and conservation status. We will then have a poop exploration session followed by matching the poop to the proper animal group based on our skills of observation and our knowledge of diets. We top off the experience by exploring the poop under a microscope!
