Astronomy Night

A Night of Stargazing

Astronomy Night will take place on Tuesday, March 18, 7 to 8:30 p.m. in a variety of community locations across San Diego County, including community centers and libraries. Locations are listed below.

Sky Scene above San Diego

The goal of Astronomy Night is to assist with the deficiency of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) academic success in the San Diego region. The Fleet's objective is to help fill this void by introducing children and their families to the world above them, and to allow them to view it as never before, by bringing astronomers and telescopes to them.

Amateur and professional astronomers are encouraged to participate. If you are interested in participating as an astronomer on this night, please contact Desiree Nash or (619) 238-1233, ext. 803.
