March for Science - San Diego

The Fleet is San Diego’s science center. We connect people of all ages to the possibilities and power of science to create a better future. Our role is to be the central link between science and our communities, our schools and scientific organizations. The Fleet stands for science.

We are proud to sponsor March for Science–San Diego on Saturday, April 14. The march is for anyone who’s excited by science—especially YOU! It’s a family-friendly, nonpartisan event with the goal of raising awareness of the contributions of science to society and the importance of supportive public policy. The march is an incredible opportunity to celebrate the central role that science plays in our daily lives. The San Diego march is one of nearly 200 Marches for Science planned across America and around the world. Learn more about the local march at sandiegoforscicence.org/march

The March for Science–San Diego takes places at Waterfront Park at 10 a.m. Following speeches, the march will proceed on an approximately one-mile loop ending back at the County Administration Center and Waterfront Park. Live entertainment by The Resizters and a science expo will follow the march until 2 p.m.

If you love science, join us at the March for Science–San Diego!
