Join our celebration of the most famous irrational number. Help us create a giant, collaborative participatory art piece with mathematics as its foundation and inspiration. Each digit of pi, represented by one color strip of paper, will hang from the ceiling, spiraling down to the floor as never-ending digits of pi are added throughout the day. At the Piku poem wall, you can create your own piku poems and put them up for display on our poem wall. What is Piku? Piku are similar to haiku, except the syllable form is three, one, four and each poem should have an image, word or action that somehow evokes roundness, math or science.
Visitors who wish to add a second film or a planetarium show to their Fleet experience pay the special Pi Day price of just $3.14 today only! Pi Day activities included with admission.
