Volunteer Orientation - Wednesday

Fleet volunteers and interns come from all different backgrounds, each with their own unique skills and expertise. What they have in common is their curiosity, love of learning, enthusiasm, and dedication to creating an excellent guest experience. In return, the Fleet provides training and support for all of our volunteers and interns to ensure a rewarding and successful experience. Volunteers also earn free admission to the galleries and theater shows, receive discounts in the store and café, and have a lot of fun along the way. Learn more about volunteering at the Fleet. During the Volunteer Orientation, we will:

• review the basics about the Fleet and volunteering here
• give you a brief tour of the spots you’ll need to know about as a volunteer
• send you on a scavenger hunt through the science center
• conduct short interviews to make sure we can match you to the volunteer position here that will best suit your interests, experience and availability

To attend the orientation, apply now. Once your application is received, we will be in touch. If there appears to be a match between your interests/skills and our open positions, we will contact you for further information and/or invite you to the orientation.

Orientation Schedule:

March 10th – 9:30 a.m. - noon

March 13th – 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
