Badge programs are offered on weekends year-round and are subject to availability. Each workshop will begin at noon. A minimum of 10 scouts is required for each program, and a maximum of 24. We encourage partnering with other groups to take a badge workshop together. Two adult chaperones are required for every 8 scouts. Additional adults will be charged our current group rate. Successful completion of these workshops will fulfill the requirements for each of the badges offered. The badge is not supplied as part of this workshop. Badge workshops cannot be booked less than one month in advance. Please have two possible dates in mind when you call.

Utilize the Science Center exhibits and resources to test scientific laws and conduct experiments. Discover what keeps planes in the air and investigate rockets using the scientific method. Experience incredible optical illusions and learn how the eyes and brain work together to produce these strange effects.

Scouts attending the Webelos workshop are encouraged to bring a snack.
Registration is now open for Summer Camp. The Fleet runs weekly, half-day summer camps in 2013 from June 24 to August 23. The majority of our camps are geared for kids in Grades 1–2 and Grades 3–4, but we also offer camps for Pre-K and Grades 5–8 on selected weeks. The camps are designed to be fun, educational and hands-on and to incorporate the Fleet’s exhibit galleries. Camps are described below and are listed by grade level.
Camps will go on sale for Members on March 4. Camps will be available for sale to Nonmembers on March 11.
