Grand Canyon Adventure

River at Risk

As new scientific studies forecast water shortages in the Western U.S. and around the world, Grand Canyon Adventure explores the issues, presents real solutions and delivers an uplifting message of hope for future generations, showing how ordinary people can make a difference for our parched planet. Set in the Grand Canyon on the iconic Colorado River, a team of explorers is about to embark on an exhilarating river-rafting adventure to bring attention to the most pressing environmental story of our time—the world's growing shortage of fresh water. World-renowned river advocate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and celebrated author/anthropologist/explorer Wade Davis—each accompanied by their daughters—are guided by Shana Watahomigie, a Native American of the Havasupai tribe and the first member of her tribe to become a National Park Ranger and river guide. Narrated by Academy Award® winner and noted environmentalist Robert Redford, and featuring songs and music by Grammy Award-winning group, Dave Matthews Band. Showing daily in April.
