America's first woman in space, Dr. Sally Ride, visits the Fleet for an afternoon presentation about the history of Mars exploration, followed by a book signing for her newly-revised and updated book The Mystery of Mars.*

Dr. Ken Edgett of San Diego-based Malin Space Science Systems (MSSS) showcases the latest stunning images from Mars, taken by MSSS-built cameras currently aboard the Mars Global Surveyor and Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft.*
*Tickets: All "MarsFest" programs are free with paid Exhibit Gallery or IMAX Theater admission. A separate, complimentary ticket is required for each event, and may be obtained at the ticket counter. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first served basis.
