are currently offering badge workshops for both Brownie and Junior
Girl Scouts. Successful completion of these workshops will fulfill
all of the requirements for each of the badges offered.

MOVERS
Discover the power of the wind in this workshop designed to keep you on the go. Make a balloon-powered rocket, construct a pinwheel, design a glider, test a copter and much more. Science so fun it will blow you away!
SCIENCE IN ACTION
Find out how science and technology impact your life in the all-inclusive workshop. Explore the properties of solids and liquids by making your very own slime. Discover how color and light shape your world and find out why you can’t always believe everything you see. Wrap up your workshop with a science and technology scavenger hunt in the exhibit galleries.
SCIENCE WONDERS
Want to know how to write a secret message or launch a rocket? Have you ever wondered what makes magnets so attractive? Do you know why the lights come on when you flip the light switch? Uncover the answers to these and many other science questions in this wonderful workshop.

MAKING IT MATTER
Put your scientific skills to the test in this workshop devoted to the fascinating field of engineering. Explore the properties of polymers, build a sturdy structure, create a buzzing circuit, and much more.
SCIENCE DISCOVERY
There are many types of scientists - biologists, geologists, botanists, physicists, and archeologists, just to name a few. Get a taste of what these scientists do in this comprehensive workshop. Start your journey indoors with investigations of light, buoyancy, and chemical reactions. Next, head outside to examine some of the trees and flowers in the park. Finally, wrap-up your workshop with an exploration of the exhibit galleries. SCIENCE SLEUTH
