Teacher Sneak Preview

You’re invited to be our guest at the annual open house for educators! Tour the Nierman Challenger Learning Center, preview our latest IMAX film, SEA MONSTERS: A Prehistoric Adventure, participate in demonstrations conducted by our exhibit interpreters and learn about workshops and outreach programs offered by the Fleet’s education department! This catered event gives you a chance to explore our exhibits and programs after-hours and allows you to have fun with one complimentary guest.

Also come early for a special Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure workshop for grades 3—6 teachers!

At 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 8 participate in a professional development workshop all about Sea Monsters! Funded by National Geographic, this 2-hour workshop provides you with classroom materials related to the film and a chance to win a free National Geographic subscription for your classroom! Plus meet Geologist, Dr. Gary Peterson, who served as an advisor on the film, and learn from his insights on Mesozoic Era sea creatures. Registration is open to the first 20 teachers to call the number above. Please be sure to mention this workshop when calling if you would like to participate.
