Theater Vouchers
1. How do I redeem my Theater vouchers?
You must stop at the Ticket Counter to exchange your vouchers for a fim, or digital show ticket. Then proceed to the theater.
2. Who needs a voucher?
Everyone in your family needs to exchange a voucher for a theater ticket. When you run out of vouchers, you may purchase additional tickets at a member’s discount.
3. Why do you put an expiration date on Theater vouchers?
The fairest way to administer the membership program is for everybody to use their Theater vouchers during the year they are members. This is also the reason we do not extend vouchers.
4. Are my Theater vouchers transferable?
Yes! Give them away to friends, neighbors, and out-of-town guests. In fact, you do not even need to be present when they are redeemed.
5. Why is my Discovery Society card NOT transferable?
Discovery Society cards (for Adventurer, Voyager, Explorer, Pioneer, and Innovator members) are valid for free, unlimited admission into films and digital shows. It is designed to be used by the same two individuals all year long. It is not fair if some members pass their Discovery Society cards to friends instead of using their Theater vouchers or purchasing tickets.
6. Are my Theater vouchers valid at any other facility?
No. Every IMAX theater is independantly managed. You must use your Theater vouchers at the Fleet Science Center, and you must use them before they expire.
