Spring Into STEAM: Build a Mars Colony

Saturday, March 17, 2018
1–2 p.m.
Linda Vista Library
2160 Ulric St., San Diego, CA 92111

Spring into STEAM is the San Diego Public Library’s science-focused program series for students ages 9-12. NASA plans to send astronauts to Mars in the 2030s. In this program, students will investigate if humans can live on the red planet and what they would need to survive. Using recycled materials (cardboard, plastic cups, foam cups, water bottles, toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, LEGO pieces, drinking straws, cotton balls, etc.) students will design and build a Mars colony.
